What this helps you do.

An answer can sound certain and still be wrong. The useful part is the evidence you can check.

A decision you can explain without relying on the model's confidence.

The workflow.

Test with non-confidential material. Resolve the permissions and provider settings before using client information.

  1. Write down the decision and the facts you know. Keep private client information out of general business questions.
  2. Ask the model to separate those facts from assumptions. Ask which missing fact would change its recommendation.
  3. Check any source or calculation yourself. A generated citation is not evidence until you have read the source.
  4. Choose a small, reversible next step. Keep responsibility for the decision with you.

Keep a record of your decisions.

Write down the source material, approval step and destination before you connect the workflow. Revisit those choices when your process changes.
