Using this website
You are welcome to read anything here and use the free tools. Do not copy the writing, the design or the Brightwood name for your own commercial use without asking first.
The free tools
The calculators and writing tools are free and provided as they are. They run in your browser and Brightwood cannot see the results. They are there to help you think. They are not legal, financial, medical or professional advice, and no outcome is promised from using them.
Paid work
Nothing on this website is a contract. Paid work starts only after a written agreement that sets out the scope, the price and the schedule. If anything here disagrees with that agreement, the agreement wins.
Refunds
If you are unhappy in the first 30 days, ask for a refund and you will get one.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. Email and say so. The payment plan stops when you cancel and you are not billed again. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
The guarantee
The guarantee is work, not hours. If a system is not doing what it was built to do, Brightwood keeps working on it until it does, at no extra cost. It is not a promise of a specific revenue number, a specific number of hours saved, or any other result that depends on how you run your business.
Your responsibilities
You own your accounts, your client relationships and what you send to your clients. Brightwood builds and runs systems for you. You stay responsible for checking what goes out under your name and for meeting the rules of your own profession.
Limits
Brightwood works hard to keep systems running, but no software is perfect and third parties go down. To the fullest extent the law allows, Brightwood is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States.
